Dear fellow Democratic voter:

I strongly and enthusiastically endorse Steve Love for the Democratic nomination for congress in the 32nd District. Early voting for the runoff starts today and ends Friday. Election day is Tuesday, April 8.

I’ve known Steve for more than thirty years. A lifelong, active Democrat, he is wise, innovative, and able to forcefully articulate the case for electing a Democratic majority in Congress. A graduate of Texas A& M, retired reserve member of the U.S. Air Force, businessman, and retired United Methodist minister, his background will appeal to the voters in the district and serve him well in Congress.

Steve strongly supports ending the war in Iraq, providing affordable quality health care for everyone, fighting global warming, protecting the middle class and solving the immigration problem, He also believes in working with the Democratic majority in congress to achieve these goals.

Steve’s opponent for the Democratic nomination is a lifelong Republican, doesn’t live in the district, and supporter of George Bush, who never voted in a Democratic primary until he filed to run in our primary this year. Already he is talking about all the ways he is different than the Democrats who are trying to end the war, provide health insurance, and stop global warming. Harry Truman said that when a Republican runs against a Republican, a Republican wins every time.

If you agree that we need an effective Democratic candidate to win the fall election and an effective Democratic congressman in the 32nd District, I hope you will vote for the Democratic candidate, Steve Love

Yours truly,

John Bryant .
